How long does it take for my order to ship?
Items typically ship within three days via USPS. Please note that shipping charges are dependent upon the order’s weight and size.
Do you accept international orders?
Yes. We currently ship to a number of countries outside of the US. At checkout you’ll see a list of the countries we ship to.
Do you charge sales tax?
We collect sales tax on orders based in Washington State.
What is your return/refund policy?
Tanamachi Goods appreciates your business, and customer satisfaction is important to us.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt of shipment. Items must be in original packaging and in new condition. Returns must be shipped back via a carrier that provides a tracking number. All returns must include the original Tanamachi Goods packing slip or invoice with returned items circled. Customers are responsible for costs associated with shipping items back to Tanamachi Goods, unless in the case of shipping damages (see below). Upon receiving product, we will inspect the returned items and a refund will be issued if product meets standards described above.
Please let us know within 7 days upon delivery if the quality of your order was compromised during the shipping process. We will happily replace the product upon assessing the returned damaged goods, accompanied by original packing slip or invoice. All return shipping costs will be covered by Tanamachi Goods only in the case of goods being damaged during shipping. Send an email to email@example.com with a brief description of the damage and we’ll get back to you right away.
Are you environmentally friendly?
We are committed to being as environmentally friendly as we possibly can be. Our paper goods and journals are printed by an FSC-Certified printer, in a 100% wind powered facility. They are committed to clean energy and reducing their environmental impact, recycling over 120 tons of paper monthly. That equates to over 2,850,000 pounds of paper that is beneficially reused and kept from landfills.
What is a Giclée print?
Giclée is a term used to describe the process of printing digital scans using high quality archival inks and archival paper. This process allows for better color accuracy. Our watercolor Giclées are printed on archival 100% cotton fiber paper with a natural white soft-textured matte finish. Paper is acid-free and lignin-free.
Are you available for custom work?
Not currently. However, if you are interested in a branding, packaging, or lettering commission, please visit Tanamachistudio.com. (Note: Tanamachi Studio is currently unavailable for personal or wedding-related commissions.)
Is my transaction secure?
Our website host, Shopify, protects credit card information according to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS). Please see this link for more information.
Do you take wholesale orders?
Yes! We would love to partner with you if you are an authorized, brick-and-mortar retailer. Please visit our wholesale page, where you can tell us a little bit more about yourself and sign up to receive our wholesale catalog.
How are your products packaged?
We carefully package our products to ensure that they arrive safely at your door. Posters come rolled inside poly tubing, Art Prints are packaged with a chipboard backing, inside a plastic sleeve; Journals and Bookplates come in resealable plastic sleeves. All screenprinted posters are signed by Dana Tanamachi. Please contact us within 7 days upon delivery if the quality of your order was compromised during the shipping process (see “What is your return/refund policy?” above).
Can I order out-of-stock products?
If you’re waiting to purchase an item that is currently sold out, please check back frequently. All products listed as “out of stock” on the site should be restocked shortly. If an item has been discontinued, it will be removed from the site.
I placed my order, what happens next?
Upon purchasing, you’ll receive an Order Confirmation email from us, plus another email with tracking information once your order ships. Please allow time for your Shipment Confirmation email to arrive (see: “How long does it take for my order to ship?” above).
